WATERLOO, Ont. - The 20th Ontario Technological Skills competition took place in Waterloo, Ont. earlier this month, attracting more than 1,600 competitors and about 30,000 visitors from across the province.
Secondary and post-secondary students (including apprentices) competed
in more than 60 skilled trades and technologies challenges in the areas
of robotics, welding, auto body, carpentry, mechatronics,

the opportunity to showcase their skills, talent and knowledge, while
networking with partners from industry, labour, government and
education.
In order to make the 20th Ontario Technological Skills Competition a reality, more than $5 million worth of tools, equipment, material and supplies were donated by sponsoring organizations.

A student from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology came in first place in the computer-aided manufacturing category at the post-secondary level.
