Schneider Electric will update their machine controller and I/O system ranges following the successful first step, in which B&R benefited from access to industry leading variable speed drive technology.

Elie Belbel, Schneider Electric’s OEM solutions SVP commented, “Helping our customers reduce complexity across all aspects of their machine lifecycle is critical and providing them with simple, easy to use machine and business solutions is our objective. Using and adapting industry leading technology is one of the key factor that will ensure our customers receive the most innovative and optimised machine control solution on the market“.

Hans Wimmer, managing director of B&R, stated, “Our continuous development is characterized by new and innovative products that have a decisive effect on automation trends. This is the only way to achieve our ambitious goals, and working with Schneider Electric will help us achieve these results even faster.”
