Most Canadian manufacturers see significant economic turnaround in 2010
Almost half of Canada's manufacturing sector expects to see a significant economic turnaround in early to mid-2010, while about 19 percent forecast better times late next year, according to our 2009 Canada Manufacturing Survey.

Siemens launches Answers for Industry sessions in Toronto

Manufacturing sales dip slightly in August: StatsCan
Manufacturing sales declined 2.1 percent to $40.9 billion in August following a 5.2-percent gain in July, according to Statistics Canada's Monthly Survey of Manufacturing.

ISA replaces annual expo with new knowledge-based event
The International Society of Automation announced to the press at ISA EXPO 2009 the formation of ISA Automation Week, a new knowledge-based conference event, focusing on delivering critical knowledge on the application of automation technologies in processing and manufacturing environments to top professionals.
