Automation Products Groupís new PT-500 submersible liquid level/pressure transmitters feature a vented, watertight cable and are designed to deliver a high precision 4-20mA solid-state signal while submerged up to 450 ft. A removable stainless steel cage connects to the sensor with a simple snap ring. The IP68 protected PT-500 transmitters are individually tested to deliver accuracy of 0.50 per cent of span and are temperature compensated to ensure accuracy and long-term stability under extreme temperature variations. Simple-to-install surface mount technology provides added protection from shock and vibration. As a result, they recommended for sewage lift stations, tank liquid level measurement, water and wastewater, well depth measurement and environmental water depth measurement.
