Written by  MA Staff March 28, 2011
Adept Technology, Inc., a provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, has entered into an agreement with Grimsby, Ont.'s RMT Robotics, allowing Adept to promote and sell RMT's ADAM mobile robot fleets.

This arrangement enables the Adept sales and distributor network to promote ADAM through their global channels with technical support, manufacturing, systems integration and customer care for the complete solution provided by RMT Robotics.

"RMT Robotics has been an excellent partner to Adept throughout their integration of Motivity, and is achieving great successes with their deployment of the ADAM solution," said Rush LaSelle, director of global sales and marketing for Adept Technology, Inc. "We are pleased to now be equipping our sales force with the tools and domain expertise brought to bear by RMT in better serving the logistical challenges faced by a large number of our clients."

RMT's ADAM, powered by Adept Motivity, is a mobile robot that provides fully autonomous transport of goods in manufacturing applications.
