IA-TRN-OES110-CE: Basic PLC Programming is a three-day course that combines the fundamentals of Omron PLCs and getting started with Omron PLCs. The first day provides an introduction to the Omron family of PLCs. Basic terminology, memory structures and PLC operation are defined. I/O addressing is discussed, as well as numbering systems. Computers will be provided to ensure hands-on experience interacting with the PLC programming software, and to create a PLC I/O table. The second and third day provide basic programming skills for Omron PLCs. The course will cover wiring to and from the PLC, memory area definitions and mapping, I/O allocations, control strategies and an introduction to programming.
