JMatPro is a unique software used by mechanical engineers and materials engineers to develop new alloys, improve existing materials, and to gain a better understanding of the properties/behaviors of alloys in a number of industries. The easy to use windows program calculates a wide range of materials properties for complex commercial alloys, such as:
  • Stable and metastable phase equilibria calculations (Temperature and concentration stepping calculations)
  • Mechanical properties (0.2% Proof stress, tensile stress and hardness, proof stress, Jominy hardenability, proof/tensile stress and hardness inter-conversion utility, high temperature strength and hardness, stress-strain curves, creep )
  • Phase transformations (TTT curves, CCT curves, Gamma'/Gamma" coarsening in Ni alloys, Martensite and bainite transformations)
  • Chemical properties (Pitting resistance in stainless steels)
  • Solidification calculations (Scheil-Gulliver solidification, Modified Scheil-Gulliver solidification to include fast C and N diffusion in steels)

Thermo-physical and physical properties in the solid state and during solidification (enthalpy, specific heat, latent heat, density, thermal expansion, volume change, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and resistivity, liquid viscosity/diffusivity, Poisson's ratio, Young's/Bulk/Shear moduli). These properties are calculated for the whole temperature range including the liquid phase, and when relevant these properties are given per phase.
