Jay Summers retires from Mitutoyo Canada after nearly 3 decades

Jul. 14, 2015 – After serving Mitutoyo Canada for 27 years, Jay Summers, executive vice president, has announced he will take retirement starting June 30, 2015. His role will be transitioned to Peter Detmers (photo) who has been with Mitutoyo Canada since 1991 and became vice president in 2012.

“Peter has been a key contributor to our past accomplishments,” says the company, adding that Detmers brings with him the expertise and knowledge for a “seamless transition that will support the company’s development going forward.”
