Rexroth names Norcan as western distributor

Feb. 26, 2016 – Effective March 1, Norcan Fluid Power will be Bosch Rexroth Canada’s authorized distributor for industrial and mobile hydraulics in Western Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

The agreement is intended to provide Western Canadian customers with greater access and choice for Bosch Rexroth’s hydraulic products and solutions to achieve specific application requirements, along with service, technical support, application expertise and local inventory, says the company.

According to Bosch Rexroth, customers and industries will benefit from Norcan Fluid Power’s multi-branch footprint and “extensive industry experience and Western Canada presence.”

Tom Light, president of Bosch Rexroth Canada, and Bill Dix, president and CEO for Norcan Fluid Power, say they are “very excited” about the opportunities for the two companies.

With locations in more than 80 countries, Bosch Rexroth offers experience in the market segments of mobile applications, machinery applications and engineering and factory automation, as well as tailored system components, solutions and services.  

Norcan, founded in 1974 in Vancouver, B.C., is a distributor of industrial, mobile and marine hydraulic components. Its offices are located in seven branch locations across Western Canada including Langley, Prince George, Kamloops, Calgary, Red Deer, Leduc, and Saskatoon.
