Tsubaki of Canada acquires Dia-Saw Manufacturing

Dec. 8, 2016 – Tsubaki of Canada Ltd. has announced the acquisition of Dia-Saw Manufacturing Ltd. of Maple Ridge, B.C.

Dia-Saw has been serving customers in western Canada since 1988. Starting as a manufacturer of shake and shingle mill equipment, it has evolved into a manufacturer of sprockets and related drive components.

Jos Sueters, vice president comments: “The addition of Dia-Saw gives us a manufacturing base in British Columbia and will significantly enhance our ability to serve the market. We are also very pleased that David Dueck, President of Dia-Saw will be staying on to help us grow our business. We look forward to working with and learning from Dave.”

Tsubaki of Canada Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Tsubakimoto Chain Co. (Tsubaki) of Japan. Tsubaki is a manufacturer of power transmission products and material handling systems.
