MAPP signs distribution deal with Oncam Global

Feb. 6, 2017 – Oncam Global has signed a distribution deal with Manufacturers Automation for its Evolution series camera line.

The St. Jacobs, Ontario-based distributor calls the addition of the Oncam 5 and 12 megapixel 360 Degree camera portfolio an “excellent complement” to its existing industrial Ethernet product lines.

Specializing in 360 degree smart IP video solutions, Oncam says its technology extends beyond live viewing, adding that “by enabling high resolution recording of the entire fish eye view, playback images can be de-warped enabling the viewer to pan tilt and zoom around the entire scene.”  

Oncam says that by leveraging 360 degree technology, customers will have “complete situational awareness of large amounts of square footage with less cameras and far less recorded video to manage.”
