Toronto-based Shelley Automation recently signed a deal to distribute ShapeGrabber’s industrial 3D laser scanners for inspection and measurement.
As part of the deal, Shelley Automation will add the ShapeGrabber line of 3D laser scanners to the stable of solutions it offers to Canadian manufacturers. The agreement advances a decade-long relationship between the companies, as Shelley Automation supplies ShapeGrabber with many of the motion control components used in the manufacture of its 3D scanners.
“We are very pleased to bring on Shelley Automation as a Canadian distributor. We have worked with the company for more than a decade and know what a fantastic, professional organization they are. We’re thrilled to have such an exceptional company represent us and are excited to have new resources to increase our presence within the domestic manufacturing sector,” Pierre Aubrey, CEO at Ottawa-based ShapeGrabber, said in a statement.
"ShapeGrabber’s automated industrial 3D scanners are an excellent addition to our range of products that bring advanced automation to manufacturers. ShapeGrabber 3D laser scanners provide manufacturers with another means to enhance productivity and achieve continuous improvement in the quality control cycle,” Brian Shelley, co-president and CEO at Shelley Automation, added.
