The Safety Zone, an American importer and manufacturer of safety equipment and products, has purchased Ralston CanSafe, a Canadian distributor of safety products designed to meet all industrial safety needs.

"The Safety Zone is a significant U.S.-based supplier of safety equipment and janitorial products operating in four countries. Canada is a natural progression for this four-decade-old company, and CanSafe, with more than three decades in business, has a lot of complementary product lines to help The Safety Zone establish a strong presence here," said Alan Ralston, president of Ralston CanSafe. Ralston will remain with the company.

Ralston CanSafe will continue to operate as Ralston CanSafe. The Safety Zone has many private label products that complement the CanSafe lines, and these will be introduced to the Canadian market in the near future.
