Feb. 1, 2017 – Tatsoft says it has released a “major update” on Tatsoft FactoryStudio, a development platform built completely in the Microsoft .NET Framework, delivering solutions to run on Windows PCs, Windows Compact Framework (Windows CE), Linux computers, Web browsers, tablets, virtual machines and smart devices with iOS or Android environments.

Tatsoft FactoryStudio 2016 extends the concept of the real-time in-memory database used by SCADA and HMI factory-floor tools, to a set of business entities able to deliver applications ranging from standalone HMIs to IT operations centres, data aggregation and real-time asset monitoring. According to Tatsoft, release 16 provides an Object Browser to make selecting graphical objects on the screen easier, Geo-Location integration to visualize real-time Asset information by location, auto-generation of dynamic display from .CSV and .XLS files, and enhanced alarms, security and audit-trail. The new HTML5/JavaScript display option, in addition to the native iOS and .NET Thin-client technologies, promises to be “extremely” flexible for multiple users.
