Mencom to debut Mini power distribution series connectors at IMTS 2016

Aug. 9, 2016 – Mencom’s power distribution series promises to provide a “cost-effective and time efficient” plug and play solution for industrial motor, machine and power applications.

According to the company, the industrial circular connectors offer a “quick disconnect option” for applications that demand more power. The Mini series is available in 3 pole, 4 pole and 7 pole configurations, with a line of accessories including adapter plugs, closure caps and plugs, and integrated cable drops. Suitable applications for the power distribution system include: automated machine tools; distributed motor control; material handling; packaging equipment; and robotic systems. The series is modular, says Mencom, adding that the user can mix and match assorted parts on the installation. “This reduces installation time and the need for specialized tools or laboir that is typically used for traditional conduit or raceway installations,” it says.

IMTS 2016 will take place at the McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill., September 12-17.
