Citel offers DLA series of DIN rail mountable surge protectors

Dec. 5, 2016 – The DLA series from Citel offers DIN rail mounted, pluggable surge protection for twisted-pair wire communication circuits.

According to the company, a hybrid circuit boasts a maximum surge current rating of 20kA (8/20µs) and “very low” let-through voltage. Products for a variety of communication circuits are available from 6V to 150V with a maximum nominal line current of 2.4A. Single and double pair products are available, both featuring shielded wire protection and replaceable surge modules. The modules are available with or without line cut capabilities. Multiple grounding options are available including grounding through the DIN rail. The DLA products are UL497B Listed and come with a 10-year warranty.
