Nov. 25, 2015 – Last week, Eaton launched its Power Xpert 9395 high performance 600V uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in Canada, building on the company’s flagship Power Xpert 9395 platform. This is the company’s first all-new 600V UPS solution for the Canadian market in over a decade, says Eaton.

The new model boasts up to 99 per cent efficiency across most loads through Eaton’s Energy Saver System (ESS). As well, it promises to deliver up to 10 per cent more power than traditional UPSs, while reducing HVAC and other operational costs.

According to the company, the 600V solution is the first to leverage the latest in insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) technology, providing customers with the “highest efficiency, highest power density and lowest harmonic distortion in the industry for next-level support of large facilities and multi-tenant data centres.”

“Eaton’s Power Xpert 9395 high performance UPS addresses key priorities for large facilities today, helping data centre managers establish a modern power protection strategy that supports evolving power management needs,” said Umesh Patel, general manager, Eaton’s Power Quality Division, Canada.
