IntelliCom has launched the NetBiter Serial Server designed to provide remote configuration of Rockwell PLCs over Ethernet, LANs or the Internet. The gateway makes a transparent connection between standard RS Logix 500 Windows tools and the Rockwell PLCs; ControlLogix, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, SLC-500 and PLC-5 using DF1. The system works completely transparent and does not affect with the installation in any way. This provides instant access to remote installations 24/7 without traveling to the sites.
