ABB Robotics' next-generation FlexPicker delta robot family is designed to offer increased speed, higher payload and a smaller footprint. ABB says the new FlexPicker IRB360 is designed for pick and place applications, and succeeds ABB's FlexPicker IRB340 system. It features 50 per cent higher payload up to 3 kg, an average cycle time performance that has improved by more than 20 per cent and a fourth axis with an extensive work range. The new robot family will initially see three models available–compact, standard and high payload.
