Feb. 22, 2016 – Eaton has released its E57 series of inductive proximity sensors, which it says are designed to “enhance equipment performance in a wide range of industrial applications.”

Available in general purpose and high performance models, the series promises to provide a solution for the “reliable detection, measurement and analysis of mechanical processes” to help reduce unplanned downtime and maintain operations. The three E57 inductive proximity sensor series boast a stainless steel body, shock resistant front caps, and impact absorbing potting compound. All new E57 models feature 360° LED indicator lights for additional visibility and notification. They are also available in standard configurations that meet IP67 and 69K ratings for resistance to dust and high-pressure water.
