Steute announces wireless, non-contact magnetic sensors

Sept. 9, 2016 – Steute has debuted new wireless, non-contact magnetic sensors which send a unique, coded telegram to one or more compatible, “easily-programmed” receivers.

According to the company, the receiver can accept up to 10 discrete telegrams per channel. The sensor is available for operation at 915 MHz (Canada/USA/Australia) or 868 MHz (Europe), and offers a maximum nominal transmission range of 40 m indoors. Boasting a sensing range of up to 30 mm, the sensor offers an operating temperature range of -20 C to 65 C. The magnetic sensors are powered by long-life, field-replaceable lithium battery.
