Ultra-miniature accelerometer
Model 3224A3 is laser-welded in a titanium housing which ensures its robust construction and contributes to its lightweight. It has a sensitivity of 5 mV/g and can operate at temperatures up to 300°F. It features integrated electronics, an adhesive mount and a planar shear, ceramic design which reduces base strain sensitivity and thermal transient response.
Part of the 3224A series of accelerometers, this family also includes models 3224A1 (10 mV/g) and 3224A2 (2 mV/g). It's suited for the following applications: environmental stress screening, PC-board vibration measurements, product response, general purpose vibration where space is at a premium, mechanical shock and modal analysis.
