Universal Flow Monitors, Inc.'s FlowStream OFM Series mass flowmeters are designed for testing products for gas and air leaks during or after assembly. A user can program the meter to select a variety of gases by pushing buttons on the meter face. The span of the unit's transmitted signal can also be changed with push buttons. A rapid response time of five milliseconds (ms) is a selectable option for immediate detection of flow fluctuation in robotic applications and other automated systems. FlowStream meters provide a 50-ms response as a standard feature. They can read full-scale flow rates as low as .5 (five-tenths) SCM up to 1,000 SLPM. The meters can also accommodate operating pressures as high as 100 PSI.
