Aug. 13, 2015 – AutomationDirect says its Raco liquid-tight connectors are designed for use on flexible metallic liquid-tight conduit and Type B flexible non-metallic liquid-tight conduit in outdoor or indoor locations.
Available in straight and 90-degree models, the connectors are suitable for use in Class I, Div 2; Class II, Div 1 & 2; and Class III, Div 1 & 2 hazardous locations. All models feature a zinc-plated steel heavy-duty locknut to assure continuity of ground, says the company. As well, a split gland-ring slips onto the conduit to grip the jacket of the conduit, promising a perfect seal and preventing pullouts. A sealing washer is also included if terminating the connector in a threadless opening. Available in 3/8-in. to 2-in. thread sizes, models are available in insulated and uninsulated styles.
