ITT Interconnect Solutions has developed a new high-temperature electric power feedthru system for submersible pumps. ITT ICS' BIW specifically designed the connector feedthru system for operation with conductor temperatures up to 450°F (230°C). The engagement system between the high temperature feedthru and the mating surface connector includes a new Metal-Lok patented keying system, which prevents rotation of the surface connector should it be inadvertently turned or mishandled. The high temperature feedthru connector system is CSA-approved for use in Class I, Division 1 hazardous locations. The connector system is rated to 5,000VAC for up to 140A and features a pressure rating of 3000psig.
