This year’s Advanced Manufacturing Expo (AMExpo), hosted by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, showcased a number of technologies manufacturers can use to improve processes from design right down to the shop floor. While additive manufacturing and 3D printing are around 20 years old, their use in manufacturing is increasing.
