Deadline approaching for ISA Educational Foundation Scholarships

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Applications for the International Society of Automation’s (ISA) Educational Foundation Scholarships are due by February 26, 2009.

ISA Educational Foundation Scholarships are awarded to full-time college or university students in a graduate, undergraduate or two-year degree program with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and who demonstrate outstanding potential for long-range contribution to the fields of automation and control. Applicants should be enrolled in a program in automation and control or a closely-related field. The scholarship awards support tuition, related expenses and/or research activities and initiatives. Awards of $5,000 are provided to the top two undergraduate students. All other award amounts vary.

Applications must be postmarked on or before February 16, 2009 and received at ISA headquarters in Research Triangle Park, N.C., by February 26, 2009. To apply, visit www.isa.org/scholarships.
