November 4, 2010  by Mary Del

Endress+Hauser Canada Ltd. has expanded its operations into Saskatchewan. The process automation company is headquartered in Burlington, Ont., and has offices in Calgary, Edmonton and Montreal. The company decided to launch a Saskatchewan office due to a growing list of regional customers, a desire to offer heightened levels of customer service and the growth of the Saskatchewan industry.

Endress+Hauser Canada has appointed Derek Unger as an account manager based in the Saskatoon area. Unger joins the company after a series of positions in sales and service in the industrial and instrumentation sectors.

"Over the past few years, I’ve watched Endress+Hauser grow its business here," said Unger. "I am delighted to join its ranks, especially as the first official team member in the province. There’s growth potential in Saskatchewan and I know that Endress+Hauser is well equipped, staffed and motivated to seize the potential in our emerging market."

Founded in 1953 by Georg H. Endress and Ludwig Hauser, The Endress+Hauser Group has evolved from being a specialist in level measurement to a provider of complete solutions for industrial measuring technology and automation.
