Call for nominees: AME launches 2011 manufacturing awards

The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) is requesting nominees for its Manufacturing Excellence Award, which recognizes North American manufacturing plants (or sites) that have demonstrated excellence in their operations. The primary focus of the award is to acknowledge continuous improvement, best practices, creativity and innovation. This award supports AME’s mission of inspiring commitment to enterprise excellence through shared learning and access to best practices.
The AME Manufacturing Excellence Award winners will be honoured at the AME International Excellence Inside Conference to be held October 24-28, 2011 in Dallas, Texas.

All applications must be postmarked or delivered to the AME office by May 2, 2011. Applicants will be notified of the results of their submission by Monday, August 1, 2011.
