Industry veteran joins ARC Advisory Group automation team

Barry S. Young has joined ARC Advisory Group’s automation team as a principle analyst. Young brings more than 25 years of professional experience in the process control and industrial automation industry to ARC.

Previously, Young served as an account and project manager for New England Controls, Emerson Process Management’s leading local business partner in New England, where he helped design and implement automation solutions for a variety of high-profile end user clients in the life sciences, utility, pulp and paper, and other industries.  

Prior to New England Controls, Young handled a variety of responsibilities within the global Invensys/Foxboro Company organization, including project management, account management, industry and product marketing, and educational services. Before that, he served as a product manager for the Masoneilan ball valve control line.

Founded in 1986, ARC Advisory Group is a research and advisory firm.
