Phoenix Contact is moving to its new Canadian headquarters in Milton, Ont., with operations beginning at the new location on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
Phoenix Contact’s growth made the move into the new 25,000-sq.-ft. facility necessary to accommodate sales, marketing, customer care, logistics, IT and accounting staff. An expanded value-added solutions centre, the addition of an automation lab and increased training capacity has been included to enhance customer service.
To allow for a smooth transition, the company will not be shipping product on Friday, July 29. However, the customer service, order entry and technical support departments will still be available to assist customers during the transition.
Phoenix Contact’s new address will be 8240 Parkhill Drive, Milton, Ont., L9T 5V7. The phone number will remain 1-800-890-2820.
Phoenix Contact is investing further into the Canadian market with the recently opened Technology Centre in Montreal, a planned Western Canadian Technology Centre and by expanding its engineering application and support staff.
