AIA names new director of standards development

Robert McCurrach has joined the Automated Imaging Association (AIA) as director of standards development. McCurrach has more than 25 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, with a focus on global engineering management, strategic program and process management, primarily for the nuclear, defence and automotive industries. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University, as well as an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology. McCurrach will work closely with Jeff Fryman, who has handled standards development for AIA and its sister trade group, Robotic Industries Association, for the last 15 years.
