Mobile workstation prevents object damage

Stanley Vidmar has a new mobile work-station-the FOD Cabinet. Foam inserts in the cabinet’s drawers are cut with profiles of individual tools. The inserts reduce FOD and tool loss by showing when tools are missing. The inserts make it easy for technicians to find tools when needed, and reduce tool damage due to improper storage. The new cabinets come with one wide drawer below the cabinet surface. Users can mix and match options. This modular approach lets users configure the cabinet to their tool collection. The new cabinets support heavy tool collection. Each drawer holds up to 400 pounds, and glides on a roller-bearing carriage system that’s designed to guarantee against failure.
