The majority of Canadian manufacturers understand their responsibilities when it comes to machine safety. They understand that employers are required to take reasonable steps to prevent bodily harm in the workplace. But many of them are unknowingly applying the wrong solution, or misapplying safeguarding solutions, resulting in the loss of productivity and opening themselves up to injury — or worse.
