Valiant and ABB team up to support heavy industries

ABB and Valiant Corporation, a Windsor, Ont.-based manufacturer of automated production systems and tooling for the automotive, aerospace, mining, composites, construction and forestry industries, have announced a strategic systems integrator agreement between Valiant and ABB Robotics-North America. This agreement is part of ABB’s Channel Partner Program, and will join ABB’s robotic technologies with Valiant’s integration expertise, specifically to serve the heavy industries sector.
Under the guidance of the strategic systems integrator agreement, Valiant will focus on providing ABB with robot-based solutions in heavy metal fabrication applications, including welding, grinding, de-burring, cutting, drilling, tapping and machine tending specifically in the aerospace, construction, forestry and alternative energy sectors.
ABB is a supplier of industrial robots, modular manufacturing systems, software and other supporting services. The company has more than 190,000 robots installed worldwide. Valiant is a production systems provider that has been engineering, manufacturing and integrating turnkey automated systems for more than 50 years.
