Ian Verhappen named managing director for Yokogawa Canada

Manufacturing AUTOMATION columnist Ian Verhappen has been named the new managing director of Yokogawa Canada.
In his new role, Verhappen will be responsible for overseeing all Yokogawa business operations in Canada. He has extensive experience in the industrial automation industry, and is an ISA Fellow, ISA Certified Automation Professional, and a recognized authority on Foundation Fieldbus and industrial communications technologies.
Verhappen will report to Yokogawa Corporation America President Chester J. Mroz. According to the company, with his experience as a leader in the industrial automation industry in Canada, Verhappen is well positioned to expand Yokogawa’s business in the Canadian market.
