May 22, 2012 by Manufacturing AUTOMATION
One of the world’s leading conferences for the automation industry, AUTOMATICA, kicks off on Tuesday in Munich, and it’s bigger than it was in 2010.
The show runs until Friday, May 25, and occupies five trade fair halls on the grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre – one more hall than in 2010.
More than 720 exhibitors from 40 countries will show their products and solutions for the manufacturing industry. The focus of the trade fair is on the complete range of automation solutions. The exhibition focal points are robotics, machine vision, assembly and handling technology. The five halls are completely booked, and the key players from the industry are participating.
The supporting program focuses on mega-trends such as energy storage systems, lightweight construction, sustainability and production optimization.
