Infor acquires Quebec’s Group Laurier

Software firm Infor is set to acquire its long-time channel partner Le Groupe Laurier CIM Inc. / Laurier CIM Group Inc. (known as Group Laurier), a reseller of Infor10 Distribution Business (SX.e) to the distribution market in Canada.

 Based in Montreal with additional operations in Toronto, Group Laurier has 70 customers and 30 employees.   

The acquisition of Group Laurier strengthens Infor’s relationship with Infor10 Distribution Business (SX.enterprise) customers in Canada by creating a 100-per cent direct relationship with them, according to the company.  Infor will now provide software, support and services directly.

Existing Group Laurier customers will experience no disruption in their support, and will be able to take advantage of Infor’s Xtreme Support, the company says.
