ITT Electronic Components says its Chip on Flex (CoF) filter connector technology has been tested to 1,000 cycles of thermal shock from –55ºC to 125ºC per MIL-STD-1344. The Cannon CoF connector uses a flexible circuit where individual chip capacitors are surface mounted on a pad adjacent to the feed thru contact. The robust connector design also provides superior reliability and protection in harsh environments. In MIL-DTL-38999 configurations, the Chip on Flex connector has passed MIL-STD-1344 and MIL-DTL-38999 Series III testing for mechanical shock, random vibration, humidity and high altitude. The connector features a voltage rating of 200VDC-120VAC rms 400Hz. Current ratings are 15A, 7.5A and 5.0A for sizes 16, 20 and 22, respectively.
