Conec has expanded its bayonet locking and water-resistant series of connectors with a USB connector compliant with USB2.0 specifications. The new USB connector is designed for use in harsh environments. Conec’s water-resistant USB products feature robust internal components housed in black plastic and nickel-plated zinc die-cast with a bayonet locking termination rated to IEC 61076-3-106 specifications. The interface meets IP67 requirements when a mating connector is inserted or when covered with a secured protective cap. A USB 2.0 plug set is available for the cable side, and there are also preassembled patch cords available in various IP protection designs and lengths. Operating temperature ranges from -40 to 85 degrees C.
