Windsor, Ont.-based Radix Controls has a shot at getting a major investment from CBC’s Jim Treliving on The Big Decision, airing Tuesday on CBC at 9 p.m.

According to a CBC press release “Radix Controls has been devastated by the recession. Once an innovative industry leader they now desperately need Jim’s investment to keep their wheels spinning, before economic realities put the brakes on their business.”

Earlier this year, Manufacturing AUTOMATION was on hand at an event Radix held to launch its new vision system as part of its participation on the show. Radix founder Ross Rawling was tasked with launching Tool Tracker, technology designed to help manufacturers assure part quality during automated assembly, at the event at Toronto’s Bloor Hot Docs Cinema.

If the team at Radix completed all of Treliving’s challenges throughout the filming, the company could be given a substantial investment. The episode featuring Radix airs Tuesday, Nov. 6 on CBC at 9 p.m. EST.
