Connector series for grounding systems

The Han GND (Han-Ground) from Harting is a new connector series that makes it possible to create grounding systems with pluggable connections. The Han GND, is a single-pole, slim design connector with a robust green and yellow plastic (polycarbonate) housing and module designed for fine stranded wires from 10 – 35mm² (6 AWG – 2 AWG).  The connector is IP 65 compliant, making it suitable for outdoor use, and rated for ambient temperatures ranging from -40 to +125 degrees Celsius.  Han GND is available for crimp or axial screw wire termination, the latter allowing for assembly of ground lines without special tooling allowing quick, simple and reliable field connections. Extra connector mating security can be provided by the use of additional locking elements that prevent unintentional opening.
