The Balluff BOS014W photoelectric sensor is a unique sensor that uses a collimated beam, which means the rays are parallel and, therefore, will spread minimally as the light propagates. This sensor uses background suppression technology, features a visible red LED and has an adjustable range of 30 to 300 mm. Adjustment is made by a potentiometer — the sensor will sense an object only at the selected distance.
