Mitutoyo Canada recently celebrated four decades of serving the Canadian manufacturing industry with the grand re-opening of their newly renovated office interior and updated Metrology Centre in Mississauga, Ont.
More than 100 invited guests and staff, including Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion, were on hand to celebrate with the metrology solutions provider.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests were invited to tour the newly renovated office interiors with special stops at the Mitutoyo Calibration Laboratory, which is CLAS accredited to ISO 17025, as well as the Repair Department that repairs all Mitutoyo small tools in-house.
Afterward, the M3 Metrology Centre was a hub of activity as guests got to watch product demonstrations, including the high-speed, high-throughput MACH-3A CMM for in-line production, with robot supplied by ABB Inc.; Mach Ko-ga-me CMM for small volume flexible inspection that can be used for in-line and side-line production inspection; and Mitutoyo’s Surface Finish Probe for CMM, providing dimensional part measurement and surface finish measurement.
