Automation Products Group’s MNU Series Ultrasonic Sensors are designed to operate as a slave device. The self-contained sensors measure distance, level or volume, with a standard Modbus RTU protocol (RS-485) output. The MNU is available in sensing ranges from four inches to 40 feet, and is ideal for remote locations where power conservation with solar panels and batteries is critical, the company says.
