E-T-A Circuit Breakers’ ESR10 is a 12V electronic relay that complies with four pole standard relay sockets according to ISO 7588. The ESR10 solid-state Electronic Standard Relay combines two functions in one device — electronic relay function and electronic over current protection. Compared to electro-mechanical relays, only a fraction of the switching and hold current is needed, the company says. This is important for battery buffered load circuits, which have to remain controlled even with the generator offline, and helps in reducing CO2 emissions. The ESR10 is suited for all applications with DC 12V circuits, where magnetic valves, motors or lamp loads have to be switched and protected, the company explains.
