Ultra-compact power supplies

Schneider Electricís new ultra-compact Telemecanique Phaseo power supplies and transformers offer a wide voltage range and guaranteed service continuity. They are recommended for all industrial and commercial applications – including mining, water treatment, petrochemical, packaging/material handling, pumping and HVAC. The Optimum, Modular and ASi-Interface range (single phase 100-240V, 7W – 145W) is designed for simple applications and machines. Ranging from 27mm to 36 mm wide, these ultra-compact power supplies have a wide input voltage range without needing a voltage selector switch. The user can rail or screw mount them without needing additional parts. Modular power supplies up to 30W are fitted with ducting through which output wiring can be oriented from the equipment upwards. The integrated energy reserve (50 per cent additional current for four seconds) of the Universal range (single/three phase 100-500V, 72W – 960W) eliminates power supply overdimensioning, thereby reducing machine design and production costs.
