Eclipse Automation announces second expansion into U.S

Cambridge, Ont.-based Eclipse Automation has announced it will be expanding its operations to Fremont, Calif., effective June 1, 2014, under the name Eclipse Automation Southwest, LLC. The new facility, which includes engineering offices and a service shop, will be focused on servicing customers in the southwest region.

“We are very pleased to be expanding Eclipse Automation operations to our second location in the U.S. I believe our commitment to growth with regional presence will facilitate the increasing demands for rapid delivery of Eclipse technology and services to our customers,” said Steve Mai, president and CEO of Eclipse Automation in Cambridge, Ont.

Jason Bosscher, general manager of Eclipse Automation Southwest, adds: “We are motivated to continually enable our clients to react with agility to very diverse opportunities in the marketplace, and are excited to provide our customers with local access to Eclipse’s exceptional solutions and support.”

This is the second U.S. expansion for the company this year. In March 2014, Eclipse Automation expanded its operations to a 25,000-square-feet facility in Charlotte, N.C., operating as Eclipse Automation Southeast, LLC.
