Camera with Power over Ethernet

The Imaging Source’s series of GigE cameras feature integrated 12x and 30x optical zoom and Power over Ethernet (PoE). The GigE zoom cameras ship with a high-quality megapixel zoom lens, which is powered by a precise stepper motor. Zoom, focus, iris and a mechanical IR cut filter, which can be switched in and out of the camera’s view, can be manually controlled by the included software. Furthermore, focus and iris can be driven automatically. The five-megapixel CMOS sensor is integrated into the colour, monochrome and bayer models. The sensor provides a number of image formats, frame rates and binning modes. This enables the cameras to output 33 frames per second in full HD mode (1920 x 1080 pixel), up to 132 frames per second in VGA mode (640 x 480 pixel) and up to 15 frames per second in five-megapixel mode (2592 x 1944 pixel), the company says.
