Weidmuller expanded its MICROOPTO family of optos and solid-state relays. These new optocouplers are designed for applications that include switching and amplifying actuators, changeover of output signals, and converting and protecting TTL signals such as special printer interfaces or closed loop control systems.

The MICROOPTO solid-state relays are a suitable option for all automation installations. Weidmuller’s new MICROOPTO products include the MICROOPTO SOLENOID, the MICROOPTO 1CO and two different MICROOPTO TTL devices.

The MICROOPTO SOLENOID is designed for safe and reliable control of inductive loads such as solenoid valves and contactors of up to 24VDC and 10A. The MICROOPTO 1CO is an electronic switch that changes over output signals. The MICROOPTO TTL is designed to adjust sensitive TTL signals to the typical level of 24VDC.

Each MICROOPTO provides LED status indication, pluggable cross connections for reduced wiring time, standard marker solutions for clear labeling options and a compact 6.1 mm DIN-rail mountable housing for space savings in the cabinet.
